You really have to feel bad for Anankos. He didn't choose to be the bad guy… he didn't choose to be a threat. He didn't want to hurt anyone; if it was his fate to be a god, he wanted to be a benevolent one. But due to circumstances beyond his control and his own primal flaws, his mind was corroded by time, driving him into a state of perpetual homicidal rage that only death could release him from. Being a dragon in the world of Fire Emblem can really, really suck.
