MS Paint Comic of a shirtless man who is on the computer. He has something bright behind him outside, frequently something beautiful or worrisome (like an explosion). He gets up to close the curtains/blinds behind him to reduce the glare on his computer screen and resumes sitting at the computer. While the comic above is frequently seen, it is not the original.
I believe that the MS paint comic was first posted on Plastic Brick Automation however, I can't seem to find when the comic was initially uploaded. A post on Something Awful claims that it was created by a user known a Lego Robot who got banned from the site in September 2007. It seems the original comic was in response to this thread on Something Awful. The original comic its self seems to support this.
Using the tag "Bright Outside Close The Curtains" to keep track of them on the site for the time being.
