About

Terrible attempts at American Voice Dubs frequently become popular on the internet, oftentimes being considered So Bad It's Good . Some noticeable examples can be found in Sonic the Hedgehog 2006, Final Fantasy 10 and Castlevania, among others.

Noticeable Examples

Castlevania – What is a Man? : Perhaps the most famous example of bad voice acting comes from the Playstation game Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, whose famous overly hammy intro specifically has become a subject of much mockery.

Resident Evil – Everything: Another significant example of bad voice acting comes in the form of the first installment of Capcom's popular Resident Evil series, whose nonsensical dialogue and cheesey deliveries provide enough entertainment for an full 10 minute video. Some of the most noticeable lines include "You were almost a Jill sandwhich" and "Jill, here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you.", both of which have become popular subjects for parody themselves.

Final Fantasy X – HAW HAW HAW: The scene in which the character Tidus "laughs" out loud has received much derision online, with comments on it's forced nature and lack of resemblance to any conventional laugh, being compared to such things as a seagull.

Mega Man X4 – WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOOOOR: Intended to be a dramatic scream to the heavens by Zero after the death of his colleague Iris, the end result was actually one of supreme cheese. With little to no emotion behind his acting and a hilariously forced scream, the scene become a popular subject for parody, wth a number of remixes made.
