Gonads and Strife

Gonads and Strife (also known as Weeeeeeeee!) is a flash video made by comedic singer/animator Threebrain in 2001. In the video, a squirrel, bouncing up and down, tells of all the things that have happened to him which have made him go "WEEEEEEEEEEEE." Be it a guy coming up to him, a thug gangster, R2D2, or a kid in a wheelchair… This squirrel just loves to go Weeee! After this part of the song, the squirrel launches into a singing of what to do "When you're a kid and you want to go WEEEE, but you don't have drugs yet, is to hold onto your life… Hold onto your little… Gonads… And Strife."
It then goes into a montage with the repeating words, Gonads and Strife, using nonsensical pictures to represent the Gonads and the Strife, such as Ron Jeremy or a pile of bunnies.

Gonads and Strife (Video)

Origin

This video rose to popularity in the early 2000s, after having been posted on albinoblacksheep.com by Threebrain, the aforementioned comedic animator/songwriter. And it's popularity quickly rose to great heights until the year 2004, three years after its original posting, where it steadily declinedand petered out, with occasional interest still shown by longtime and new-found fans.

Derivatives

Although the interest in the video has waned in the past few years; it spawned many derivatives, including some YTMNDs. The YTMNDs include a mock commercial for the Nintendo Wii, a WRYYY version (Information on WRYYY), and a short video of two karate fighters fighting to the song.

It also inspired Youtube videos, including slowed-down versions, AMVs, and videos where a word is replaced with "Weee"

It even inspired two IRL groups.
One being an 18 and over forum formed in 2004, called Gonads And Strife, with the main topics being Dark Fantasy Fiction and TV and Movie discussion, but still having topics from Health to Quizzes.
The other is an IRL bike club called Gonads-N-Strife Bike Club which was formed late in the year 2000 (and named later I'd assume, confirmation needed and currently being gotten) in Nevada. They bike for charities and other events.

Although not many derivatives have been made, it has attracted over 300,000 views on its most popular youtube video, and that was posted when the video itself was in a decline. It garnered hundreds of thousands of hits on it's original site and on Youtube and the derivatives it has had have been even as large as a forum with over 600 members and a bike club that has been operating for over 8 years!
