Ill-Informed Squid was founded by Benjamin Crombie on the 2nd of April 2012, due to his information on a gaming sale of an unknown company being represented by 'ill informed' sources. This lead to him not purchasing the games he wanted and going home disappointed.
It is used in situations that describe the pre contextual information being deemed misinterpreted or incorrect after confirmation from other sources or realisation from physical understanding.
Can also be used in comical situations where the second comment can be a totally unrelated and silly statement or comment in relation to the first. Also pertaining to the meaning of mockery where the second comment can be the truth but understood in context as incorrect.
