“Leave Britney Alone” is the viral video that launched the career of the Youtube Celebrity Chris Crocker. On September 10, 2007, Chris Crocker uploaded an emotional plea to the media and the general public to give Britney a break from all the criticism she had been receiving leading up to and after her comeback performance at the 2007 MTV Music Awards.

The video gained over 2 million views in the first two hours, eventually accruing 29 million views by January of 2010.
