Overview

You face Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion is a quote by Lord Jaraxxus in the popular MMORPG: World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, and 4 years later in the online TCG: Hearthstone: Heros of Warcraft. Lord Jaraxxus' voice was first used as a material for Remix Videos, but when Hearthstone introduced Lord Jaraxxus, his phrase: You face Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion became a greeting and taunt. Alongside the introducion of Lord Jaraxxus in Hearthstone, "Trifling gnome, your arrogance will be your undoing!" also became a way to express taunting behavior, but way less known than: You face Jaraxxus.

Background

With the release of the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King's patch: Call of the Crusade, the raid instance: Crusader's Coliseum was also released. With one of the bosses being Lord Jarraxus. 3 months later, Mr Voletron released a remix video, using mostly Lord Jaraxxus' voice. The video quickly gained popularity, and as for the 27 of October 2013, have reached over 750.000 views.

Around a year later, Youtuber Myndflame released the 10th installment of his ROLFBear series, making a Music Video for Mr Voleton's: You face Jaraxxus remix.
4 years after the release of Call of the Crusade, the TCL Hearthstone introduced Lord Jaraxxus as a playable "Hero" allowing players to use the same emotes as Lord Jaraxxus did in the original Call of the Crusade. To this day, You face Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion, is used as more of a taunt and greeting, than remix material.
