I had an interesting experience this afternoon while riding the train home from work. I have at this point been in the city for over 18 hours. I am tired, hungry, have to piss, and when I get home there will undoubtedly be this month's rent notice in my mailbox. I just want to go home, piss, shower, eat and sleep. Two stops before the final stop, my stop, a family of 6 gets on the train. The whole car is empty. I am sitting in a window seat by myself, half asleep. thw whole family crowds around me and sits in the seats that are in front of and behind me, including a small boy with a soda who sits next to me He starts poking me. "Mister. .mister? Whats your name?" I just say "Leave me alone, keeping my eyes shut and trying to ignore the two screaming girls fighting over the new Harry Potter book (at this time, it was the half blood prince). The kid next to me says, "Thats not nice" and pours his remaining soda in the bottle in my lap. "What the f------ f---!?" I yell. "Goddamn m------------ brat! Control your f------ kids and get away from me!!" The parents are clearly flabbergasted. "Apologize to my family! That was disrespectful!" the father says. I just give him the finger and move to the other side of the car, p----- off and now soaking with sprite. I lean my head against the window again and close my eyes when I feel a tap on my shoulder. "Apologize right now or I'll call the police and have thenm arrest you at your stop. I'll say you pushed my son on the ground." >04/08/08(Tue)20:02:50 No.61956282 >61956169 The train reaches it's stop and the family gathers around me. I stand up, everyone is looking at me, waiting for an answer. I squat down, eye level to the kids, who are all struggling for the Harry Potter book now, and say "Snape kills Dumbledore on page 596." all 4 children, probably between the ages of 8 and 10, look at each other for a second, and immediatley begin crying. The father shoves me back into my seat and pulls out his celphone, ushering his family out of the train car. When i got to my stop, I walked out of the train and there were two policemen waiting for me. They asked me if i was the man who had pushed the child, as i matched the description. I said yes and explained that i never pushed the little bastard. His dad was just p----- that he couldnt control the little f----- and he poured sprite all over my pants (now still sticky and damp). when asked about the harry potter incident, i explained that i have a freedom of speech and didnt say anything sexual, derogatory, or against the law. the other officer shrugged and said "Whatever" and they started walking away. I stopped them though, saying i would like to press charges for battery or assault because he pushed me. the security tapes from the train proved me right and after a short trial, he did a three month stint in jail. The last i heard, his family lost their house and had to move because they had no income. LOL.

"Snape Kills Dumbledore" is a viral spoiler about the 6th book in the Harry Potter series involving the death of Dumbledore, the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry headmaster and one of the major protagonists in the series.

Origin

On July 16th, 2005, the 6th Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, was released. It was revealed that the character Severus Snape, a teacher at Hogwarts, kills Dumbledore near the end of the book. The spoiler quickly spread across the internet, usually accompanied with an image of a scanned page of the book:

The spoiler inspired a slew of YTMND pages parodying the scene. Many would use the page 606 image as a template with the song "Tarzan Boy" by Baltimora, the same track used in the Gay Fuel memes. Some notable examples include Dumble Death Scene, A-Ha Helps Snape Kill Dumbledore, Marty McFly Bookstore Crash, Tom Hanks Finds New Harry Potter Book and Harry Potter and the Breakfast of Champions. On November 15th, 2006, YouTuber 9mm77 uploaded footage of a guy driving past the bookstore Barnes and Noble while yelling out the spoiler (shown below). Over the next 11 years, the video gained over 497,000 views and 1,100 comments.
