A string of pictures and YouTube videos feature Sonic the Hedgehog flipping off another image. The majority of the videos were posted around spring in 2009, with the earliest being from the beginning of April. All videos give credit to a user by the name of Pinkkfox for making the picture of Sonic. Pinkkfox has an account on deviantART, but there's no trace of the Sonic picture on her account there. She also has an account on Livejournal. Pinkkfox had a YouTube account but it has since been terminated.
One video that may or may not be related shows Sonic doing his, "You're too slow!" taunt on SSBB, with the title being Sonic's opinion of Nintendo Wi-fi. This video was posted on March 12, 2008.
Another noteworthy topic is Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie. This movie was released in Japan in 1996. In one scene, Sonic is shown giving the finger to Metal Robotnik.
