Super Smash Brothers - Hard Reads 101: How To Send Counter Spammers to The Shadow Realm

1. Boring as hell; never got a single hype match in FG after almost 3 months (Nothing but lag, spamming, and just plain boredom from curbstomp battles or just being trashed by someone in a completely different league)
2. Too broke to enlist in Tournaments. Plus I'm in the middle of Hillbilly Hell, about 6 hours away from ANY sort of gaming convention.
3. No way to practice outside either curbstomping scrubs or getting my ass beat
4. Generally not really feeling it. I'm that kind of guy who would play his main and then suddenly switch to Bowser or G&W just to fuck around and toss out random shit and button mash for shits and giggles.
5. Playing for 100% pure shits, giggles, and fond gamer memories.

Perhaps I worded it incorrectly.
I meant "gratifying." I never feel like I've done enough or the match just never feels fulfilling. Last time that happened was against this dude who used Sheik against my CF, shit was crazy as fuck, he won, but damn if it wasn't a good fight.
Meanwhile nowadays I can't find a good match be it Pokemon or Sm4sh (Combined with a lousy losing streak I've been having in Pokemon because I used nothing but my favorites) and well, combine that all with the fact that I'm way below Tournament level, and it really makes for a good choice why I shouldn't.

So yeah, I was silly to think Tourney-level hype would be in FG of all places… but there's just no fun in playing competitively for me.
