'Goblin Slayer' was a surprise to me. It's not a bad read. It comes off to me as a lower power level version of Berserk set in a typical D&D world setting. However, it's focus of lowly Goblins preying on the commoners is an element that is commonly over looked and forgotten by other stories. The MC's drive to kill all the Goblins a lot more heroic than it seems.
