For everyone’s sake, I will be the one who will watch this video and only describe what’s wrong.

List of things that are bullshit in Matpat’s another shitty Mario theory:

1) Before even clicking on the vid, wtf is with the thumbnail of Mario holding peach’s decapitated head!? FFS this is racist Mario levels of clickbait.

2) The “Mario kart is illegal due to the lack of seat belt safety.” Is quite nonsense. First of all, seat belts are important for human safety in the real world, but given the context in a fictional world – more importantly – a fictional world in which characters survive from underwater, outer space, electricity, explosions, and other sorts of items and hazards without even a scratch other than stopping them going 1st place, I don’t think seat belts are really a big issue for anyone in the mushroom kingdom. Hell, other games similar to Mario kart such as Sonic &ASR doesn’t include seat belts for any of the characters either.

3) Mario’s confirm height; while I don’t know Mario’s actual height, what I do know particularly is that relying on a Mario mascot suit to determine its height is inaccurate due to the fact all mascot costumes are intended for adults only (at the height of 5’2 – 5’10) for safety purposes. By that logic, all of the mascots are all 5’2 – 5’10 tall. It saids it in here: http://www.kincaidkaracters.com/Mascot_Safety_.html

4) Speed collision; same thing as #2 if any of the elements that happens to harm them are little too no effect, then how does this damage them when colliding with anyone of anything? It’s like analyzing a Tom & Jerry episode and list the things that should of killed them despite it’s for the sake of a slapstick cartoon, in fact Mario kart is rated E for comic mischief/ cartoon violence aka depictions of slapstick and unharmed actions.

This complain seems to be unnecessary to some people, but the fact that he keep using real life logic and apply it to a setting that doesn’t really rely on reality for the most part, it only irks me for how common this clique of “what if videogames are real?” appears all over the web.

While there are other key points that I didn’t mention for the list, I just going to include the major flaws from the video instead of the minor ones if I do that, I would have at least 2 more lengthy replys.
