To me this definition of Satan is like the ultimate brainwashing of "Never think for yourself, never question anything, only obey! Everything else favors Satan!"

In the bible Satan's role wasn't even evil it was just questioning god, so that god had an opportunity to prove some point.

But I guess to religion "disagreement" is the greatest of crimes conceivable and equal to pure evil.
