My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Reminder of what Lauren Faust's plans were

Cool. It was always my headcanon that Celestia and Luna used to rule from the castle within the Everfree Forest. The use of the phrase "childhood home" in this post is rather intriguing however, because it implies the existence of a childhood (and therefore, parents). I wonder if we'll finally get to see Celestia and Luna's origins. Hopefully the writers won't fuck that up like they did the Crystal Empire. I'd really rather them do Celestia and Luna proper justice.

SUPER SPOILER
Given the spoiler synopsis of the S4 premier put on EqD an hour ago, I'd say that the Everfree is definitely still expanding. I kinda like the idea of the Everfree as some sort of slowly-expanding zone of chaos that simply cannot be stopped by anyone.
