True. Funnily enough, in Super Punch-Out, he was actually one of the cleanest fighters. His gimmick, trying to clinch you if you hit him with a charged punch, is fairly common in real boxing. Although I don't think clinching allows you to sap health from your opponent IRL.

Even though Aran Ryan is a cheating bastard in punch out wii, he is one of my favorite characters to fight against, the other being Super Macho Man and Title Defense Mr.Sandman
