My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Feels or not Feel?

Am I the only one that's really bothered about how the concept of "Evil" is portrayed in these books? That's it's not a moral choice one could make and could happen to anyone but is instead some type of energy or some nonsense? Isn't that kind of a dangerous thing to teach?
