About

El BBL is a song that went viral in May 2024 as part of the "BBL Drizzy" contest related to the Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake feud on social media. Unlike other remixes in the contest, "El BBL" does not use the "BBL Drizzy" beat and is instead an original merengue composition by Sammy Andaluz. The song additionally inspired dances and praise on social media.

Origin

On May 7th, 2024, musician Sammy Andaluz, under the TikTok handle @woulfmansam,^[1] posted a video as an entry into Metro Boomin's "BBL Drizzy" contest.
