I don't think this has to do with Inafune himself, but rather someone in charge of PR. Inafune is probably too busy working on the game to know everything that's been going on as of late.

There was that whole controversy a while back where apparently a Tumblr-SJW became in charge of forum moderation (or was it something more? Crap I don't remember), so for all I know this could be the same person.
