Same. Heck most of Michael's family come off as annoying people until later into the game when Michael tries to fix his family life, but to be fair Michael himself isn't shown as being an example of someone of high morality either given he IS a criminal.

Heck I'm sure GTA's interpretation of something like GamerGate would be to portray BOTH sides as having annoying people. Like I imagine the anti-GG side would be portrayed as stereotypical radfems who act like the very people who have tried to get GTA banned for "violence against women" (failing to notice that all violence against women in the games can be done to men too, making it more like GTA's not treating any gender as being "special"), but the pro-GG side would likely be full of people acting like how pro-GG is commonly stereotyped: overweight men who still cling onto the elementary school "no girls allowed" mentality and treat women more as sex objects. Basically, both would be shown as annoying asshats, so no one wins.
