Those can still be pretty bad. Have you ever heard of exploding toads?
In Hamburg, Germany, there were over 1,000 cases of exploding toads. This is because of the crow's hunting methods. You see, the toad's backs have toxic skin. So the crows avoid this by flipping them on their backs and attacking the weaker underbelly. They then rip out the toads' livers, and jsut leave them like that.
Later, the toads would get back up and do their toady business (in severe pain). And do you know the toad's other defense mechanism? Taking in air in order to expand themselves to look bigger in response to danger (which happens more more often when they are afraid due to pain). Just like a baloon. With a huge hole in their gut. And then the story becomes clear…… And that is a pretty horrible way to go, huh? Getting your liver ripped out and having your entrails shot out of your body.
