It's hard to say why we love to cringe so much. Maybe it's just a great reminder that our social skills maybe aren't so bad. After all, we might be socially awkward, but we'd never do or say anything as ridiculous as these things. Fortunately, Redditors have captured the cringiest pictures of all for us to laugh at. No one we know in real life is capable of such horrible cringe-inducing behavior, but these people were dug up from people's real-world interactions with bad dates, terrible sales techniques, awful social media posts and many more things that shouldn't have been said or done. But now that someone made the horrible mistake of doing this, we can laugh at them for it. Take a look at some of our favorite images that are sickeningly cringeworthy.

No one likes people who take their shoes (and socks!) off on the plane, but this is just… gross.

Please, Someone Stop Him

Think Before Tweeting

Maybe this isn't the best thing to be tweeting about, given the current state of the world.

So Many Red Flags

The poster of this image says she had only just turned eighteen when this older man sent this to her inbox.

I Hope His Partner Doesn't Read This

This is similar to how loss warped into a twisted reference online.
