Because each of these inventions or pieces of art were inspired by truly terrible ideas. No one should have come up with the ideas that led to their creation, because the kind of person who thinks this is a product the world actually needs is a person who is very much out of touch with reality.

At the same time, the artists who managed to create these weird inventions managed to make masterpieces. We're honestly kind of impressed. Thanks to the subreddit /r/atbge, which stands for "awful taste, but great execution," we can now see every regrettable concept that's turned into a true work of art, with some of them greatly exceeding any expectations you might have for those terrible and oddly specific concepts.
