Twitter has been going through a lot ever since Elon's recent acquisition. Most of the problems have risen primarily from his persistence to make users pay $8/month to get a blue check on their accounts. Granted, being verified on Twitter never really had much meaning, but it was essential to help legitimize specific accounts and the tweets that they published, especially if they were sources of vital information.
