As we head into another month of this apocalyptic year, it's rare to find any uplifting news to share. Well, that changed today when Ryan Reynolds released a commercial for Mint Mobile, a company he recently became an owner of. So, what exactly is Mint Mobile? Well, it's a prepaid carrier mobile service, but that doesn't really matter because the only thing people wanted to talk about after seeing the commercial was Rick Moranis, who magically popped up halfway through the video.

Earlier this year, Disney announced that Moranis would be returning after a 24-year hiatus from acting to appear in the fourth Honey, I Shrunk The Kids sequel, which sent shockwaves around around Twitter. Naturally, his name began to trend again today, after people celebrated seeing his familiar face after all of these years. Moranis' decision to step away from acting was made after his wife passed away from cancer back in 1991. Since then, fans have admired his honorable choice to raise his children instead, but have sincerely missed his presence throughout the comedy world. Now that we know Ryan Reynolds has the capability to bring back Rick Moranis, perhaps we should have him be in charge of finding a vaccine?

Moranis' name quickly started to trend after the commercial started to spread around Twitter.

A request for more of this partnership was placed.

Perhaps the Ghostbusters sequel needed to be 30 seconds long?

Josh Gad, who is set to star alongside Moranis in Shrunk, couldn't contain his happiness.

Is he our savior? Possibly.

Thank you, Canada.

Relationship goals.

All in all, many of us finally felt joy today after a very heavy year.

And, we now have a new holiday.

We're so glad you trended for all the right reasons today, Rick.

And as always, thank you, Ryan Reynolds.
