In late June, a Twitter user added an illustration to a popular tweet from 2014, and a meme was born:

At first glance, you might not expect the Slaps Roof of Car meme to have taken off quite like it has. After all, there's only so much mileage you can get out of the snowclone "This bad boy can fit so much X in it." Nevertheless, clever memers saw the potential in the format, and soon the meme went in absurd directions, with every facet of the original joke riffed on, replaced, edited, photoshopped, and broken.
