The viral TikTok twins the Island Boys have become the subjects of a wild online conspiracy theory. The Island Boys Epstein Island Photo theory claims that the Island Boys, AKA Kodiyakredd and Flyysoulja (AKA Franky and Alex Venegas), were trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein when they were kids and can be seen in a now-viral photograph posing with him. But is the viral photograph real? Here's what you need to know.
What Is The 'Island Boys Epstein Island Photo' Conspiracy Theory?
In April, various conspiracy theorists on Instagram, including redpillmamii and s0ul_shine2020, began sharing an image that seems to show Jeffrey Epstein posing with four young boys on a beach. Presumably, the beach is Epstein Island, home of the infamous Epstein Temple. The shared image features the face of the Island Boys in the corner, meant to suggest they are two of the young boys photographed.
The conspiracy theory spread throughout April and May. Although many believed the photo was fake, many others genuinely believed it could be real, with redpillmamii even writing, "If this is true this is sad af and would be a whole different meaning to 'I’m just an island boy trying to make it.'"
Is The 'Island Boys Epstein Island Photo' Real?
While the conspiracy theory is certainly interesting, conspiracy theorists everywhere can take off their tin foil hats. The image of Epstein with the young boys is AI-generated and does not show Epstein with the Island Boys.
The image was originally posted in April to the @aiartisking Instagram page, a small account that only shares AI-generated images. The image is simply meant to show Epstein on his island posing with young boys. It's realistic, but it's fake.
If you need further proof, the Island Boys themselves have also denied not only the photo but knowing anything about Jeffrey Epstein. This hasn't stopped people from speculating about the image and whether or not the island in question in their infamous "Island Boy" freestyle is actually Epstein Island.
