The "Apple" dance is a TikTok dance that's going viral on the platform. The dance was started in mid-June 2024 by TikToker Kelley Heyer and quickly rose to virality as she posted video after video performing it. Specifically, the dance starts as Charli XCX sings, "I think the apple's rotten right to the core, from all the things passed down from all the apples coming before."

Ever since Heyer posted her original "Apple" dance video, other TikTokers have been doing their best renditions of it. Then, later in June, the dance made its way to Charli XCX herself. How Is The 'Apple' Dance Done?

The "Apple" dance starts with the performer sliding their left hand over their chest and their right down their stomach and legs. Then, you raise both hands, side-by-side, to one side of your head and bring them across your chest to the opposite hip, all while opening and closing your palms to the beat of the song. The dance ends with the performer making a heart shape above their head, breaking it, then mimicking a driving motion with one arm facing the camera.

The best way to learn the dance, which has some variations depending on the dancer, is to watch one of the many tutorial videos posted on TikTok. These videos are wracking up tons of views, with lots of TikTokers wanting to get in on the dance themselves.
