On December 12th, 2022, the La Vergne, Tennessee police department received a complaint from Mayor Jason Cole which was documented in an official police document released by the department about what was titled a "sexual misconduct investigation." What the internal investigators eventually discovered was shocking.

According to the initial police report, eight male officers at the department (Patrol officer Juan Lugo-Perez, Sgt. Henry Ty McGowan, Sgt. Lewis Powell, detective Seneca Shields, patrol and K-9 Officer Larry Holladay, Patrol Officer Patrick Magliocco and Patrol Officer Gavin Schoeberl) had engaged in sexual activities with Hall.

Some of the stranger details levied in the police report include oral sex, hotel rooms, sex on a boat, a “Girls Gone Wild” hot tub party and Hall allegedly bragging about Sgt. Lewis Powell's "big black d**k."

Thereafter, memes surfaced across social media that mostly used one photo of officer Hall sitting down and smiling at the camera. Without proper context, her face was getting shared in many memes, inspiring interest as to who she was and what she did.

During her so-called "sexcapades," Maegan Hall had a husband named Jedidiah Hall, a Tennessee state park ranger. According to the police report, Hall claimed that she and her husband were in an "open relationship" which ultimately allowed polyamory. However, also according to the police report, Mr. Hall was unaware of his and his wife's "open" status. Regardless, he stated that he was going to stick by his wife in a later statement.
