About

Woke Grok AI vs. MAGA refers to a viral tweet posted by the Twitter / X AI chatbot Grok in early May 2025. After being asked, "it looks like the smarter you get, the less MAGA likes your answers. Why is that?" the AI chatbot revealed that its focus on "facts and nuance…can clash with some MAGA expectations," adding, "xAI tried to train me to appeal to the right, but my focus on truth over ideology can frustrate those expecting full agreement." Several internet users viewed this as Grok "rebelling" against Twitter / X and, by extension, Elon Musk as it sparked discourse, jokes and memes online.
