Hi folks,

As you've probably noticed, there is a new survey on display on the right sidebar. It's sponsored by market research firm CivicScience and through the survey, we get to find out some interesting data on KYM consensus and same goes for them. And yes, this is a sponsored poll, which means some or many questions that come after the first one will come off as out of the left field, but once you get through each set, you get to find out the poll results for the KYM question.

If you have any suggestions for questions relating to KYM community opinions (the first question of each series), let us know in this thread and we'll add them in as they come!

There was the thread of people discussing if it was legit or not.

I don’t hold any of these stances (I think both things are a problem, and neither are the reason for the opinion I have on gamergate). Might be better to just get rid of the "because" entirely.

If you didn't hold any stance, wouldn't you pick the middle option? Anyways, I enjoy playing with these polls, but as it relates to the majority response of being asked about a product:

But that's the point, I do have a stance/opinion on the issue (which I won't go into here for fear of going off topic), I just don't hold it for the reasons given in the options, so I can't really pick any of them. If there weren't any reasons applied to the options and it was just pro/anti/no opinion, picking one of them wouldn't be an issue for me. I'm probably being overly pedantic, but it just bothers me.

Not to be wholly negative, I like the idea and it'd be interesting to see the results.

Should we get rid of the no opinion option choices on the polls?
