I'm not really sure as to exactly how, but try right-clicking the music file. See what it brings up.

I really don't know: haven't used Windows Media Player in a while. If you use a Mac, then I'm afraid you're SOL.

In iTunes, WinAmp, and Foobar2000, you can just right click a song and edit the song information/properties.

There's also a lot of software/freeware made just for editing id3 tags, which is often useful for editing multiple files, or sometimes for automatically detecting correct artists or album artwork.

Alternatively, right click a song(s) actual file and click on properties --> details:

Upload it to your library and change it there.

Well I'm not sure what program you are using, but in iTunes just right click the song, select "Get info" which opens a window, click on the tab that says "Info" and from there you can edit all the info.
