Talk about them? If you see this, you know you're about to play a ridiculously long piece of kick-ass.

The first game of his that I played was Metal Gear Solid, of course, but then, I started looking for other games by him. Couldn't find much, but then MGS2 came out. Hated Raiden, loved the gameplay…

MGS3? BEST. GAME. EVER.

MGS4? I almost cried… Snake… (sniff) Sorry…

Another game that I found (that's not Metal Gear) was Boktai.

BOKTAI IS ONE OF THE COOLEST GBA GAMES I'VE EVER SEEN. You should definitely look it up- it actually made us kids go outside.

Earthsiege? Enough to say i fucking love them. Also anyone else here still remember about dynamix?

Though I hadn't played many of the Spyro games, the Ratchet and Clank series was a big part of my childhood. I probably chose to buy a PlayStation 3 over a Xbox 360 just show I could continue the series. The Resistance games are really enjoyable as well though I haven't yet picked up 3.

Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, 3 CTR even Crash Bash were maybe the best PSOne games I've played. It felt so inspired to get the definitely not as good sequels on PS2 not by Naughty Dog. I also played the Jak series which I loved and can't wait for the HD remake! Uncharted has been awesome though 3 probably wasn't my GOTY.

Yeah, I know, I'm a dinosaur. I think these guys made some of the greatest and most beautiful games ever made. (The Myst series, if you didn't know, which I wouldn't expect you to)

While a lot of the studios i like have been mentioned, i still haven't seen my favourite ones:

(Especially Resident Evil)(Whoops, it was already named, but it's still one of my favourite)
And

Including works of Square and Enix before they merged into one company.

I remember… I played Myst in elementary school… It was way over my head, but I managed to beat it in around 4-5 months through a lot of guesswork and multiple lucky breaks…

My general train of thought through the game was along the lines of 'ok, so if I do this, that happens, so what if I do this then that to see what that does? Oh! So then that happens!' which then repeated itself, over and over ad nauseum. (ie, ok, so if I press this button, the generator turns on, so what if I press it, then pull a lever? Oh, so the water level drops!)

I think the thing I really enjoyed(/hated) about Myst, though, was the utter lack of all other life. For some reason, the feeling of loneliness in that game is the most memorable part… I remember putting those colored sheets of papers in books, just to hear their message again so that I'd feel less alone…
