lol, I started that way too. I lurked for 5 months and then got up the courage to join. Every one is nice hear and it's way fun. Obey the rules and you'll do fine.

Its never bad lurking, but sometimes you just want to talk you know?… I've been lurking /b/ for a year and a half and i finally started a /b/ folder for my images just a few days ago.

Also, in terms of joining the site, I'm just like Mellow. I joined the site immediately but not for the same reasons as most of the other guys. It was something more personal (but let's not droll on that).
