I'm here because I enjoy researching memes and I have a responsibility to help out. Having a userbase full of fun individuals doesn't hurt either.

/b/ is great for what it is. But KYM is no replacement for /b/. There's plenty of stuff from YTP< Something Awful, and Tumblr floating around here. Basically, memes from everywhere, not just 4chan.

in a nutshell, I joined to write an entry on Mammy.

I soon found out researching and writing was fun/ Espescially for internet culture.

Eventually, I took the initiation (Don't ask) and I was accepted as a well-known user here.

One of my friends on some forum posted a thread about it. most everyone was just like 'eh whatever," but I knew I was seeing something special.
