I think…it could have been more effective if I understood the writing. It looked like an automobile accident victim asking for directions to the hospital before suffering from an epileptic seizure…

Is it odd that I'm not as disturbed as everyone else?

No. I'm with you on this. That is how online suspense and horror comic should be. That was great. I wish there was an Engrish translation of it.

Well, I'm generally not into horror. I skipped film class when they showed Psycho. I was absolutely horrified when I read the plot of Cupcakes (a particularly gruesome fanfic, for you non-bronies). And yet, when I look at this, I have no strong feelings one way or the other. Maybe it's the oversaturation of zombie-media.

I had the weirdest reaction, it was like the top half of my body gave not but a single fuck, yet the lower portion freaked the fuck out.

That sounds like you lower half ran to the bathroom because you almost peed your pants but your hands refuse to unzip your pants.

So, can anybody who knows Korean give us a translation?

I think it goes like this (disclaimer: not an actual translation. I don't know Korean at all):

Title:
"DO NOT WANT. NOPE."

Panel 1:
November 20, at night
"Another 15 hour, 10 course school day over. Time to go read some manghwa or something."
"Or maybe I'll just hang around at 4chan. Those guys are awesome".

Panel 2:
"Except for the time they asked me TOGTFO".

Panel 3:
"Is it just me or the tiles are looking really groovy today?"

Panel 4 (black):
"Mmmmm tiles… LOL"

Panel 5:
"Oh, great. Another middle-aged exploited salary man who just got too much to drink."
"Hope they do understand I am underage…
and will not join them for a binge and karaoke night".

Panel 6:
"I do understand they deserve better working conditions and thanks to them our economy is not that bad."
"Poor guy. Real world sucks."

Panel 7:
"Man, he DOES look quite… wasted".
"And he must have forgotten his shoes or something."

Panel 8:
"I'm just so glad I brought my pair of Converse® shoes".

Panel 9:
"I'll need them just in case I have to make a run for my life, like in that American movie where the kid has to outrun that massive dog to recover a freaking baseball. Globalization is ok, I guess."

Panel 10-19:
[guy turns].

Panel 20:
"Oh God! He does not only look wasted but quite f****d up really bad."
"Look, um, I'm just a hallucination, ok? But I guess I could call an ambulance or something".

Panel 21:
"YARANAIKA?" (tl note: Korean equivalent)

Panel 22:
"Oh sh*t. Sh*t just got real…"

Panel 23:
"I mean, he is not THAT bad looking, but the blood dripping and neck stuff are quite scary…"
[SFX: Gulp]

Panel 24:
[hand]

Panel 25:
[Pointing]
"Hope my hours of lurking can pay off…"

Panel 26:
"GTFO, NEWFAG."

Panel 27 (black):
"Please PLEASE GTFO and stay GTFO'd."

Panel 28:
"What? I can't believe it actually worked. What a dumbass."

Panel 29:
"Who's the WOMAN now, dawg?"

Panel 30:
[Converse® shoes]

Panel 31:
"Well, I'd better get going. I'll run like the wind with my sweet pair of Converse®."

Panel 32:
[Converse® shoes]

Panel 33:
"I swear, next time I'll bring a pitbull or something. I don't care if they are not allowed in school."

Panel 34 (black):
"Sh*t"

Panel 35:
"NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP!!!!!!"
"lolwut??!!!1!1!!"

Panel 36: (black)

Panel 37-43:
[zooming]

Panel 44:
[gasping]

Panel 45 (black):
"I guess I just got RickRoll'd…"

Panel 46:
TL;DTT (Too long, didn't try to translate)

Panel 47:
Yet another victim of the perpetual newfags and summerfags. The cancer will never go away, so deal with it. Desu.

I don't know Korean, but I figured out how to change my keyboard to Korean Hangul, and tried to work my way through it. Here's some of it:

The red text at the top says (as best as I could get Google to translate for me):

Warning
This mystery-horror comic featured in the summer to (????*) includes a number of shocking scenes.
Pregnant women, the elderly, and those of fragile heart refrain from using, please.

The title of the comic is "Pongch’ŏn-dong(**) Ghost", and the first line the ghost says is "WHERE'S MY BABY?" to which the girl hesitatingly replies, "Well, there he is." The ghost walks away. The girl turns to leave, when suddenly, "IT'S NOT EVEN HERE!"

*I can't find a translation for this word. I tried looking on the Korean Wikipedia, and it only appears once, on a page about a symphony orchestra in Europe. Simply doing a flat-out Google search of it seems to yield mostly porn.
**This is apparently a city in North Korea.

Okay, awesome; I got the translation of the rest from the same place I first found the link. Cutting and pasting here:

1. this is just a comic rendition of countless eye witness accounts.
2. It must've been around 11:20 PM. i was heading home after a long and exhausting day at school
3. for some reason, there weren't that many people outside that night. it's a large neighborhood, so there' usually someone even at night
4. anyways, i kept trudging on with my eyes glued to the floor, getting a bit scared
5. when all of a sudden i saw a long stretch of shadow coming towards me, but i swear there weren't anyone in front of me
6. so i looked up to see…
7. a woman walking ahead, but there was something strange about that woman
8. it seemed like she was having a hard time walking, like she was disabled or something.
9. she was walking really slowly, so the distance between us got short pretty quickly. when i got closer, i was able to see her more clearly
10. she was wearing a pair of dirty pajamas.. and it seemed like all her joints were dislocated. her hair was sticking out everywhere even
11. i thought it was really weird, so i stopped in my track
12. i felt like i shouldn't get any closer, and i didn't have the guts to walk past her either
13. there's a saying if you're really scared, you can't even scream. it's true. i was so scared, i literally froze on the spot
14. "WHERE'S MY BABY?"
15. when she asked that, all kinds of thought popped into my head
16. sigh i still don't know why i decided to do what i did. it still scares me when i think back on it
17. gulp i pointed to the farthest point from me and said…
18. "it's.. it's over there"
19. i just wanted the woman to be as far away from me as possible
20. the woman stumbled towards where i pointed to…
21. and soon she disappeared from my sight
22. i decided to get out of the neighborhood because i didn't want to run into her again
23. i couldn't even think straight. i just needed to get back to somewhere more populated
24. at that moment…..
25. "MY BABY'S NOT HEREEEEEEE!!!!!!!"
26. i could hear her despair from far away
27. i don't remember anything else from that night. a neighbor found me unconscious and brought me back to my house
28. year 2007, at seoul bongchun-dong apartment complex 33 year old mrs. Cho threw herself off the building and died immediately
29. her extramarital affairs led to divorce from her husband, and she lost custody of her 2 year old daughter. they said she committed
suicide due to the stemming depression from the incident
30. ever since then, the residents of that apartment complex have seen the ghost of mrs. cho walking around on several occasions
31. they said the sight of her mangled body, walking around barefoot, was a immensely frightening

Wait… was that thing supposed to be a deceased WOMAN? Oh wow.
