I’m sure a number of you have seen Memegen, but if not you should check it out! Anyone have any suggestions for improving it? Are there any features that could be added? Post answers in memes if possible ; ) and maybe I’ll post the best one on the homepage or something.

Yes, it can perform the same function as Memegenerator. The reason I made it was to features and streamline it. Font size, outline and color are customizable. My pages also load faster, according to page speed. I changed it to the more accurate name "Image Macro Engine" because not everything that is captioned will necessarily be or become a meme.

I don't get the X all the Y part, but I'll add more fonts. I like the picture ; )

To be honest, I think imgflip is a fantastic product. I hope it stays exactly the same, don't change a thing, besides adding more templates.

One thing you should probably avoid is letting users overuse the submit function; I think that's what did memegenerator in. Stick to actual proven memes; you might even want to use Know Your Meme for reference!

He's saying that X All The Y is another exploitable image macro that you should add to your gallery of memes.

Wow, I'm surprised I haven't seen that one before… and I spend a LOT of time on the net. You can upload custom images and then reuse them with the link that is given. So if you uploaded X All the Y for instance, you could reuse it at imgflip.com/memegen/custom/x-all-the-y.
