If God doesn't exist, then why do we have a word for Him?

If God exists, then why am i so fat? I thought we were all meant to be made in his image? Then why don't I look like Johnny Depp or Michelle Obama?

No God with omnipotency would choose not to create dinosaurs.
No God would kill them off/ let them die out.
God can't exist because dinosaurs aren't walking the Earth today.
Out of all the apologetic works I've read on the ontological, cosmological, and anthropic arguments for the existence of God, none of them have provided such solid, irrefutable, and coherent proof.
Good show, RF… Good show.
We have words for many things that don't exist.
Like conspiracy theories.
Everything exists but yet it does not exist.
All of us are right but yet we all are wrong.
We may or may never know the truths that are in the darkest reaches of existence itself.
Perhaps Higgs Boson could be pushed in edgeways somewhere into this thread?
"I am god, I am enough proof that I do exist."
"Tity sprinkles."

Right. Just like unicorns, ogres, merlions, faeries, ghosts, cyclopes, vampires, griffons, leprechauns, werewolves, djinn, yetis, dragons, rocs, satyrs, chupacabras, zombies, phoenixes, kelpies, mermaids, hippogriffs, cockatrices, nagas, jackalopes, centaurs, golems, sphinxes, and minotaurs are all real. My faith has truly been bolstered today.
I am proof that Pegasi are real and have intelligence to make cybernetic technology far more superior then humans.

Well, I could say the same myself.

I mean, guys, this logic does suck.
I mean, we have a word for women being on the internet, so I'm pretty sure this logic doesn't work.
inb4 I get my ass kicked
@Lasers
What are you talking about? It's profound! It's undebatable and also strangely erotic! I can't think of any way to counter his arguments in any way, shape, size, girth, flavor or color. It just makes too much sense
We should all convert this instant!

Better way to prove God exists: The universe and life itself. I mean, have you guys took time to notice how weird the norm is?

The Big Bang is the reason the universe exists.
It's been proven that we are evolved from apes. The apes were also fish before what they are now, or something like that.
My knowledge about evolution is great, isn't it?

I believe I flamed a war. Lock this before the war happens.
Guess what? I'm not a Christian, I'm a Muslim. I better get out of the battle.
@Nikolaki
Actually Dr.Meme is just following logic
Under the assumption of 100% certainty of a deity, the universe itself is the trace said deity left behind to prove it's existence. We can clearly observe it and it carries all the trademarks of the deities design. We simply cannot recognize that evidence right in front of us because we don't know what the deity has not created and thus have no comparison to use.
Of course this logic doesn't apply under 0% certainty
@seal clubba:
Yeah, we had a thread on that her a long, long time ago. I was able to show everyone that it was a squashed bug on the Google Maps camera.

@Nikolaki8:
"It’s been proven that we are evolved from apes. The apes were also fish before what they are now, or something like that."
Actually, if you talk to a biologist who's worth their salt, they'll tell you that we in fact did not evolve from apes. It's one of those nit-picky things like, "America is not a democracy; it's a republic." or, "The first President of the United States wasn't George Washington; it was John Hancock."
By the way, we didn't evolve from apes, it is sure that we've a common ancestor.
Easy science, here.

One way to disprove evolution: relation between species.
The reason why most people think evolution is real is because of the striking resemblance between man and ape. But if we proved this by relativity of species, it's like saying we evolved from pigs. That's right, pigs are one of the species that have similar systems, blood etc. to us humans. In fact, one species of flea named the 'human flea' feeds on both human's and pig's blood. Dogs could be another example, they have similar systems to ours. Could we have come from Canidae to this? No.
And saying that life forms have changed in such a way over time is based on Materialism. Materialism is the theory that the universe has created itself. But the Big Bang theory disproves that.
Check and mate.

No, that's not the reason why people believe evolution. Just because man and ape look similar has no relation to the science of it.
Through study of fossil evidence, carbon dating and study of species' genetic and physiological makeup, it has become clear that humans evolved from the same common ancestor as apes.
Yeah, pigs have similar systems, to a degree. But when you study every factor in a pig's physiology compared to every factor in a human's physiology, you will find that we're very dissimilar. As mammals, pigs share the same relative systems that we do, simply because they're… Mammals. All mammals share a certain archetype infrastructure. Thus, just because a pig shares that archetype with us has no negative bearing on the science of evolution.
