Okay this is a thread for all you hardware nerds out there.

The goal is simple: show off your hardware including processor, RAM and video. Or just include a picture of the thing if you like, up to you.

If you don't know your computers hardware you can use tools like CPU-Z or look it up in your Windows control panel

Here's my setup:

From the bottom left to the upper right we have…

  • THE ULTRA MEGA TIME TRACKING SECONDOMETER (clock)
  • An Acer Aspire Notebook

    • Processor: Core i5 2.27Ghz
    • RAM: DDR3 4GB
    • Disk space: 500GB
    • Video: Radeon HD5650 1GB
  • DYNAMIC TURBINE POWERED FREEZING COLD ELIMINATOR (heater)
  • PAPER LAYERED PONY DEPICTION APPARATUS (sketch pad)
  • My custom build desktop (Antec 300)

    • Processor: Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16Ghz
    • RAM: DDR2 4GB
    • Disk space: 320GB x 2
    • Video: Radeon HD4850 500MB
  • DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE CONTAINMENT DEVICE (bottle)
  • Logitech 2.1 Speakers (Subwoofer is behind the monitor)
  • LG 1600×900 monitor
  • Typical Logitech keyboard and a Logitech G5 Gaming Mouse (Which I love)
  • AOC 1366×768 monitor
  • SUPER DUPER HINGED ENTRY CONTROL BARRIER (the door)

That sure was a lot. But you don't have to post nearly as much as I did. Just post the specs

Here's mine.

It can count, sum, rest, the thing X, X the reverse. M shit I have never used and works like a Frisbee. It is a great deadly weapon too!

  • Processor: Stuff.
  • RAM: Hunger.
  • Disk Space: Mayonnaise.
  • Video: It's a fuckin' calculator.

Gentlewards, trust me, this is the best calculator ever.

I think the issue at hand is a lot of people on this site, myself included, are generally too young to have the sort of disposable income required to have rigs like this.
Essentially, we are stuck having to deal with stuff like this until we have greater financial independence.

Possibly you could make a thread where people could talk about their dream PC, but for now those aspirations will have to remain in the realm of fantasy. Q_Q

How old are you, if I may inquire?

Why? How old did you think I was?

I don't know, old enough to have established a job that pays well, as implied by the three computers.

@Someplanet

That first rig reminds me how old my machine is getting. Too bad I don't have cash for upgrades right now.

Second one is interesting. Looks like you could use an old DVD case to house the motherboard.

You could even install that inside your first computer (Yo dawg…)

Does it support 64 bit?

No, but I did manage to make a 64 bit in the Minecraft game I was running on it. When I'm bored I turn on my computer, load Minecraft, load the world with the 64 bit redstone processor, and then play some games on it.

Problem, thermodynamics?

If that's an acer Aspire 5742Z, then you've got the same laptop as me.

It's a Packard Bell EasyNote TK.

I don't care about the producer, as long as I've heard the name before.

You should've gone with Bruelock's image, then we would go even deeper.

Gaze upon my masterpiece of crap, jk it is not that bad, for a cell phone pic, I could not find a proper camera.

But I am to novice to know what hardware is in my computer all I know is that I installed a GeForce 550 Ti graphics card and power system and I need a new cooling fan but I have been to lazy to do it and I have been putting it off.
