I'm going to amend the rules a bit here: For someone to get lynched, they need at least three people to vote for them. Also, we need more people to vote. I'm not posin' the next turn till SOMEONE gets lynched.

Signed up for a Mafia Thread, I have a plenty amount of free time to lose. Punching some of these faceless men skulls could be fun…literally speaking, roleplaying rules do not affect reality.
Waited until everybody posted, the time to strike getting closer..Then It happened…The message arrives…Hoping for a big role…A great job…

I'm a bit confused on how the night went down. We have 3 roles that can kill: Mafia, Assassin, and Vigilante. Yet only one person died, the doctor.

So yeah, who an hero'd? Did all 3 kill parties vote for Falcon or something, was another target perhaps saved by Falcon? It's all a bit vague with such a short description.

Well, looks like the urge to RandomLynch got the crowd too riled up. Spark didn't have a fighting chance after he was taken to the top of the clock tower and thrown into a vat of boiling olive oil. Onlookers cheered, since their mob psychology told them that Spark was the Godfather of the local mafia. However, their triumph turned to terror as the Corner shouted "Wait! This man is innocent! His role was Villiager! Spark had been telling the truth, but nobody had believed him… They tried to save him, but too little too late, as his lifeless body was dragged out of the vat and given to his family to be given a proper burial *

Day 3
Ivan was found dead next to his victim, RandomMan. It seems that Ivan murdered RandomMan with his standard Vigilante-issue colt revolver, but was stabbed in the back by an unknown assailant. RandomMan was found on his way to a procedure, since he was a Doctor and all. In addition, Weasel was slain in a shootout, but was powerless to defend himself since he was a docile Villiager. At the start of the day, the meeting hall was greeted by a ransom note style notice, saying "I can't tell you who I am, but I know that Kyntak is very secretive and owns many weapons. He is either an Assassin or a Mafioso."

Well, that didn't went as expected. At least Ivan went down with me.

I had chosen to heal Verbose both evenings, as you can see neither time was with succes. Reason for this was that Verbose is a valuable player if he is a villager, and certainly someone the mafia and assassin want to get rid of quickly if he's still alive. I didn't want to take this risk and he was the highest possible target in a case of being a villager.

But seeing how he still hasn't been targeted by any killing party even now, plus his inactivity which is rather weird for him in a mafia game, I now have reason to believe that Verbose is mafia!

Of course this is not 100% true, but next to myself he is commonly one of the first players targeted, and as he's still alive it raises questions to what his role is. He is a valuable villager, but he is even more dangerous as a mafia, use this info wisely.

But I probably deserve it for getting someone innocent killed. And I'll pass on voting, lest I get another innocent lynched. Even though RandomMan has suspicions about Verbose, I'd rather not chance it.

I was wrong, Verbose is mafia. Also notice how Kyntak, a person accused of either mafia or assassin, suddenly defends Verbose right after Verbose gets accused of being mafia. If Verbose is indeed innocent, in what way would saving him benefit Kyntak's role? This leads me to believe both of them are mafia, because mafia defend each other. Best to kill Verbose now, and hope the real assassin kills the fake this night.

Based on what RandomMan said, I'll vote for Verbose. If Kyntak is the assassin, it would be bad to lynch him. If Kyntak is mafioso, hopefully the real Assassin will be smart and kill him.

Based on what RM says, I'm normally nixed pretty early in the game. I'm pretty useful as a villager/pro-villager player, somewhat dangerous as a mafioso, and pretty active regardless.

I haven't been active due to personal issues, as you can see on my wall. So if you'd like to point out my lack of activity, that's why. I take time to myself on occasion and get away from KYM, but I'd still like to be involved in the game.
 
Second, RM made the error in assuming that everyone in this game is savvy to who's who in Mafia.

In terms of who's alive, I think you just have Falcon and madcat who know how well other users can or cannot play. Perhaps one of those two are mafia…which follows…

…because madcat is trying to nix me on the spot.
 
Third, outright defending the mafia as a mafioso is pretty amateurish. It does scream that I may have a role, and that the person defending me knows something. But it doesn't necessarily mean that I'm mafia.

Lynch Kyntak… he'll kill either way with either role, and if he dies, villagers have a greater chance to survive, since Assassin's aren't aligned and Mafioso's are against townsfolk.

T.T So much speculation and so little evidence.
I didn't defend Verbose, I simply said I wasn't going to vote, even if there was suspicion. Cuz I don't wanna kill no more villagers like last time T_T If I wanted to defend him, I'd give a reason as to why I wouldn't vote for him--not a reason as to why I'm refraining from voting at all till I know more (newb at this game)

As an addendum, if I am an assassin and you choose to lynch me, you waste a lynching on someone who isn't mafia (thought that was the game objective?), which prolongs their survival, as well as ability to manipulate voting. But I'm probably dead either way T.T woe is Kyntak

Well, there isn't enough votes to kill Verbose or Kyntak. Still, like I said before, I'm going to not end any day without a lynch, since it would give the mafia a huge advantage.
