Before I purchased it, I thought so.

Now I don't know what to think. The opponents were cheap, even on Easy Mode. The Barrier System, while a cool idea, doesn't work for me because my opponents can just toss me and immediately break it. Plus, there's only 3 buttons: Block, Punch, and Kick, so instead of trying to learn everyone's moves, I end up button-mashing no matter what, with the sole exception of whatever will break their barriers.

But… I don't know, after it was done, I found myself wanting more. I kept thinking that MAYBE if I was playing against a human, it wouldn't be brutally unfair or absolutely punishing. (After all, it is hard to perform a grab in that game.) And then of course I liked the characters and cartooniness of it all. Something about it being a Sonic game makes it slightly more appealing to me.

Like I said, I have no idea what to think of this game. Other than "HELP! I CAN'T STOP BEING AN IDIOT AND SUCK MYSELF OUT OF THIS GAME!"

@Joe: I think it leans on "so bad it's good" and "masochistic".

I'm not really playing anything, so can I get some recommendations?

My cousin convinced me to get Persona 4 Arena, so I did, along with Soul Calibur V.

I'm really late to both games, but these are among a few games a lot of people play at free rental booths in some major conventions here.

(I even wanted a Wii U. Sonic, actually, did not come into it. (Is it so wrong for a Sonic fna to want a Wii U for a Nintendo game? (Pikmin 3, to be precise. Seriously, that series is really unique. Enjoyed the first two (Second more than the first, of course))

waiting for Hitman Absolution to finish downloading….. screwed around on the Inaugaration Station for Saints Row 4 and played a mini race tournament with other SSX players from MerquryCity (a SSX fansite)

GTA SA with BTTF mod

Following up on my earlier post about freeware RPGs, "Pom Gets Wifi" was released five days ago and has already become the most downloaded game on rpgmaker.net with over 25,000 downloads. For comparison, the three games I mentioned earlier (1, 2, 3) ranged from 4,000-8,000. I'll have to try it to see if it's more than a cutesy novelty.

Games I'm looking forward to? I hold out hope that Konjak will finish Iconoclasts and Fighunter will turn out another Mardek game.

~Tales of Vesperia: Just got past Belius and headed back to Don. Also discovered the Level 2 Burst Artes and the Altered Burst Artes.

~Shin Megami Tensei 4: Stuck and too stubborn to look up a guide.

~Zelda Oracle of Ages: Just started, and managed to get to the 3rd dungeon. For some reason I like the Capcom Zeldas quite a bit due to the fact they like to create characters who are very clearly active as the story progresses rather than the characters who just stand around all day until you trigger them.

~Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate: My reward for enduring my move. Not going to play it until I unpack it at my new apartment.

Just finished playing Earthbound on the Wii U.
Easily one of my favorite games. The writing seemed just like my style of humor.

Rotating between Mario & Luigi: Dream Team (3ds), One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 (ps3), and Okami (ps3).

One Piece:PW2 is my first musou game, and I love it!

Update:

~Vesperia and Shin Megamani Tensei 4 are on hold for now.

~Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate: Unlocked the second tier quests, but still taking my time to get all the first tier quests done. Rather slow paced for an action game, but as far as I know the things will REALLY amp up one the larger beasts start roaming around.

~Pandoras Tower: Had just beaten the 3rd boss and unlocked the fourth tower, but made the mistake of starting to play this at my moms house, and now that I have it home I need to restart it.

~Project X Zone: Unopened. Not certain when I will play it yet.
