LockedIf you aren't aware by now, I like to watch a lot of anime. The main problem (besides finding time to watch them all) is finding more to watch.
A lot of us I'm sure have discovered a nice little anime, perhaps even short ones of only thirteen episodes, and yet even though you really liked it, it doesn't seem like anyone else has.
This thread is for recommending to your fellow anime-enthusiasts lesser-known anime you really enjoyed. As far as what's considered "lesser-known," I leave that up to your own discretion--however, I don't want to see people replying saying "that's not lesser-known everyone knows about that anime you stupid cunt."
Basically, mention the name, include links to watch it if you want, give a very brief non-spoiler description, and also be sure to include either the genres or "Things to keep in mind." I'll start it off with one of my own:
I recommend watching an anime called Hyouka. It's a personal favorite of mine and also features mai number one waifu as one of the main characters. It's based on a series of mystery novels, though only one season (of 22 episodes) exists, and it doesn't cover the entire book series.
Things to Keep in Mind:
- It's a high school slice of life
- It includes mysteries
- The main character is of the "very smart but very lazy" cliche
- It is realistic fiction
- There are no life-or-death situations; it's light-hearted
