Okay, my family just watched Frozen a few hours ago and I noticed something;

Elsa's whole character and story reminded me a lot of Floyd Pinkerton's. To wit;

1. Both had bad childhoods (Elsa's whole ordeal with her powers, Floyd's missing father and smothering mother);

2. Both considered isolation as the best course of action, which is completed more or less in the second act (if I understand the Three-Act structure correctly). Their respective walls are "shattered" at the end.

Granted there are huge differences in the outcomes of their actions (Snow Golems vs. Neo-Nazis for one thing), but something tells me Pink Floyd was on the producers' playlists.

Whether this is a ruined childhood or an enhanced one, this was a theory I wanted to share with you all. Your opinions on this are welcomed either way.

Now I'm just waiting for the Frozen/The Wall (The Frozen Wall?) fanvids…

The whole plot idea of someone having a bad past or trauma and trying to get isolated only to have those 'walls' destroyed is actually pretty basic.

Also the dancing and singing snowman, he was in both if my sources are correct.
