So we got MedleyManiac doing a KYM animated shorts so i decided to maybe make a web comic. Nothing big, just go page by page with a loose story. I was thinking i will mix my drawings with real pictures (like i did with the cover…background is a real room and the table the computer is on is just a wood texture picture) so by doing that i can save time plus its fitting i think, since we all lovez some photoshopz. On top of that, it will give it its own unique look.

Short overview

We have a girl named Kay that is really into this meme stuff on top of being an active member of this site. One day after work she returns home to log in and she is hit with the "Blue Screen of Death"…But upon further inspection she realizes that its relaying a message and just might be talking to her.

What is the BSoD trying to tell her? Whats the future hold for our blue haired protagonist? Tune in next time.

Cover Link

The comic will include characters based on active members of the site (BSoD already snuck his character onto the cover) and inside joke characters that we all know and love will also be included. Im thinking an Alice in Wonderland type thing (mmmm wonder who the rabbit will be? O_o) and any feedback or ideas are more then welcome.

Main Character (Kay) – (credit to Precious Roy for name and color scheme) …Was made for a KYM dating game…but it never came to be…So im using her for this since she just "fits" already.

I should probably come up with a character design for myself. Maybe on Skate 3. Either way, I'm on board.

I'm on board on this idea. Out of curiosity do we have to make our own character bio or are you gonna do it? I'll throw out ideas for the comic on a later date.

Since I already invented the Kay character, maybe you could sneek in the Precious Roy puppet in my avatar as a cameo, like a random piece of junk in her room.

We Created/invented lol you came up with name and colors and that she would wear glasses… i can up with what cloths she would wear, Dolan hat, Ncat belt buckle and hair style..SHE IS OUR LOVE CHILD!….AND OF COURSE I WILL PUT YOU IN!… And i love your avatar Precious Roy, i LOVED that show back in the day.

And for other people, i can sneak in characters you make (model and story wise) but for some i have pre planed character models already…some i cant change given there place in the story line.

KYM-tan will definitely be showing up. I just needed a new fresh character with an empty back story i could mold.

I'd try to stick to 100% totally original art as opposed to the google image search-ing that's being used, just saying. I know you're probably using it as a time saver, but the art will probably look nicer if it's all done in the same style, plus there's a potential copyright issue at hand if it's protected stuff that's being used.

so… if we want to submit a character, for like cameos or something like that, what the fuck do we do? Just post it in the thread, or what? also, i'm just going to describe my character to you, because i can't draw for the life of me.

its not going to be a problem. Its just for us and the boards and im not making any money off it. And half this site is people posting and manipulating images…Im sure we're good.

Do I type down my character bio here on the thread or do i send it to you privately? Also how much info do you want, I know you need name, appearance, and personality. But do you also need other things like backstory? I have two ideas for the comic but I want to see a bit more pages of the comic before I post them.

Wouldn't it be more efficient just to ask someone for their character bio when you're planning to include them in the comic instead of just asking for bios from everyone? You'd get tons of bios from BNMs that you'll probably never use, and someone who you want to put in might not even notice that this thread exists.

And I don't know about you guys, but I'd feel like such an asshole just sending in a bio like I'm demanding to appear or something.

Yes, that is a very valid point you're raising. however, I consider it that a user can submit a polite request to feature a character they designed in a comic about KYM.

Of course, BNMs aren't REALLY a pert of the site yet, but you could mould the BNMs into some sort of monstrosity.

That sounds far. If you want to pm me a your character ideas that's fine. Now i cant tell you when i will be using your character cameo but i will try my best to fit you in. As for how you are used in the story will be up to me but that could change. I'm always open to good ideas.
