king of the hill game

the rules of the game is one person starts controlling the imaginary hill and the next poster must find a way to kill the person and take the hill,i don't know if you can play the game after being killed or if you end up dead you're out of the game

Perhaps we should flesh this out a little more.

I could very easily see each user just walking up to the last poster, shooting them in the dome (or other creative ways of offing a guy), and taking the hill only for the next poster to do the same thing. If everyone is "out" when they die, then this game would end rather quickly.

Did you grab this game idea from another site or forum? I'm going to guess they have more rules to prevent that from happening.

How about everyone must think of a new way to kill someone, so just shooting someone doesn't come up 50 times.

I might also propose that each person has more than one "life."

I highly doubt that 50 users will post in this game. I kinda doubt that there are 50 active users in JFF. The game may end and thread autolock before the 25th post.

I'll leave the game to you, but those were things that struck me as something that might prevent the game from being fun.

Hey derpwads, are we actually going to play the game or are we going to keep bitching about the rules?

I take the hill and build a simple log fortress from felled trees.

Fair enough.

I shoot ConnerABacon in the head and take the hill. You're out of the game.

Too bad you didn't wait.

I tackle Verbose from behind so that he falls forward and breaks his neck, making the hill my posession.

One issue btw with this "one life" "poster X" wins is that you'll now have everyone avoiding to post because once they do, they pretty much lost.

So I say just keep it simple and make it like "Ban the person above you", the difference being that instead you now have to kick a person downwards or kill him (anything works) so you can claim the hill yours, and everyone has unlimited lives.

I shank ring Pop in the back, and toss him off the hill.

@Randomman: I'd have to agree with that.

I slowly build Coolface's trust and respect, eventually developing a loving relationship with him.
After a few years of dating, we become married.
I am written into his last Will and Testament, successfully establishing my inheritance of the Hill upon his death.
I then slowly sap away his health over the course of another year with small doses of an undetectable and fatal poison, all the while becoming increasingly conflicted about my actions.
By the time I realize the repercussions of my actions, it is too late to salvage the situation.
While he takes his last few precious breaths upon his deathbed, I whisper in his ear that I love him.

I now sit alone on the Hill, awaiting the same fate as my former lover.

I watch from the shadow as you sink deeper and deeper into despair. As each day and night pass your will to live slowly withers away, while I just stay in the background, subtly influencing every event in your life just to make things worse for ya. Finally the day come that you can no longer bear to live anymore and you use the same poison that took Coolface's life, those ending yours. Right as your soul leaves you empty corpse I finally step out of the shadow and take my rightful place as the king of the hill.
