Doing this again since the last one got locked.

J-Stars Victory VS is an arena brawler akin to Anarchy Reigns and Gundam Extreme VS and is a Spiritual Successor to Jump Ultimate Stars. The game was created by Namco Bandai and Spike Chunsoft to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Weekly Shonen Jump. The game features 2-on-2 player combat where the player teams up with a friend or the computer to fight against an opposing team. Each team also has a third slot left for summoning a support character.

There is also a story mode where you can meet many other characters who aren't playable or assists. These characters aid you on your quest by giving side quests so you can obtain items to enhance your fighters or the ship you travel on, The Memorial Jump. Once you go through 4 different paths in the story and fight some people, you'll get to the J-Festival!

man, what I like about this is that they got both JoJo's Bizarre Adventure AND Fist of the North Star in this game.
now all they need to add is Jotaro and DIO and i'm fucking set.

Due to a screenshot on the website, people are guessing there's 56 characters in total. (including supports) At the moment there's 42 characters, so that leaves 14 slots. With this thought in mind, I think I got a good wishlist for the final 14 characters:

I knew there was going to be some reveals. Luckyman is quite unexpected…

The next (and possibly last) batch of characters!

Momotaro, Ace, Killua and Hiei are playable while Edajima is an assist! Also, the scan shows that there's gonna be a lot of cross-dialog, even when the characters are teaming up for crossover attacks! Here's an example from the scan:

New trailer, with the whole roster of 52 characters! (39 playable, 13 assists) It also shows off the J-Adventure story mode, the Victory Road arcade/challenge mode, the card-based system and a ton of other stuff:

Luckyman reminds me of a Superhero version of Homestar. Anyways, this looks like an awesome game. I hope the import prices are cheap at the moment…

I think this is the final J-Stars trailer. It's 12 minutes long and full of character interaction, like Luffy and Luckyman, Toriko and Gon, Gin and Joseph, Medaka and Raoh, Goku and Taro, and so much more so sit back and enjoy all this great action!

Man, this can rival the size of any Super Robot Wars trailer…
