Also, I think the reason it got closed is because somebody posted personal information, which was not OK.

Please refrain from doing that in this thread too. If you REALLY have to, censor out the names, like I did in the above post.

There seems to be an increased rate of threads auto-closing for no discernible reason.

No mod locked Cringeworthy general. Skeletor tells you if a mod locked the thread, but as you can see it was just an expiry thing.

Someone posted personal info? Yea don't do that. But I'd just remove that from the offending post, not lock the whole thread for it
