OH GOD WHY DID YOU DO THAT!

Whether it be a movie, video game, or TV show, we're all familiar with the moment where you get up out of your seat and shout "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!"

It could be a simple mistake, genera blindness, or perhaps some plot induced stupidity; whatever the reason post here some of your most personally infuriating examples, or maybe ones you'd just like to share!

Here's my contribution:

….someone literately wrote in BIG RED MARKER inside the book that is bound with human flesh and was wrapped in heavy duty plastic/ barbed freaking wire telling you exactly why not to read it!

WHY DID YOU READ IT!

Prometheus. Everybody facepalmed when the expert biologist decided to play with the angry space cobra. Everybody in the audience. Everybody who didn't see the movie but heard about it from their friends. Everybody reading reviews of the movie where the reviewer put to word in literary eloquence the meeting of face and palm.

And then there was the scene when the blonde got run over by a spinning space wheel that she could have avoided by moving a yard to either side. Activate secondary palm, maneuver toward face.

Whenever somebody pushes their friend away from danger and they obviously still have time to escape themselves, but they just stand there and die instead, which usually achieves nothing.

It happens so much you don't even understand.

Any movie that uses forced romance plot.

I still don't get why would two characters fall in love (or kiss) after meeting for only a couple of hours or days in movie time without any story to cover their relayionship? i just never understood it and it always makes me cringe everytime i see a forced romance.
