THE ULTIMATE VIDEO GAMES NOW AND THEN THREAD!!

Here's how:
First select a video game of your choice that has sequels, than embed images of what was before and what was it now.
For example: WipEout (1995) and Wipeout 2048 (2012)

I think games in general have greatly improved since the "golden age of gaming". There were some cherished gems, to be certain, but the VAST majority of them were crap.

And just because I love downvotes, I'll say:

Wanting challenge in a game is fine, but I favor modern game design where the goal is not to design puzzles and twitch timing challenges that no human could possibly master without months of practice. I don't have time for that.

There are pros and cons of each age, but in general gaming actually has improved since the old days.

They arent all bad, some are actually pretty good. Steins Gate isn't actually an eroge, but its damn good.

In the days of the atari, literally anyone could make a game for the console and sell it. It was a much different time. There were actually a lot of (hilariously bad) porn games for atari because of that.
