I watched the movie Spy Kids 3D back when it came out since I enjoyed the first two, and yeah the third movie was pretty "meh" (though Pyrocynical brought it back into memory thanks to the "somebody ring the Dinkster?" meme). One oddly specific thing I remember from the movie though was this one part when the main characters went into a level of the virtual reality game they were playing that was a "lava level," and there was a conversation between two other characters going something like:
"Why is it every game has a lava level?"
"Well actually Halo didn't have a lava level, and in Metroid Prime it was plasma."
And then when I saw the movie on TV a couple of years later I noticed that line was blanked out, probably so that the TV network didn't have to worry about Microsoft and Nintendo asking for royalty fees or something. I find it odd that this is probably the one thing in that movie I remember so vividly.
