But you gaiz. I wonder, with all the memes here, what it must be like to have created a popular meme. Like, you never see anyone going "lol i create this".

So it makes me wonder. When a meme is created, does it's creator even realize it? Or do they just sit silent, atop their internet horse?

If they forced it: yes.
If not: no.

If it's a celebrity (I.E. Xzibit), then most likely.

A lot of meme-makers appreciate their memes.
Though many remain anonymous.

I really don't see an issue with a forced meme, as long as it is funny.

Well, memes such as Fck Yea would obviously have an original creator. But if anyone had come up and said "hey, I'm the creator of this meme", would anyone believe that one person? So I guess they wouldn't even try to claim it. Idk…
